Even all those good recipes too much trouble??  Well, here are some creative ideas from some teachers who just want food on the table, convenient and filling. Check them out!!
This is easy and quick: 1 pkg Schwann's dry roasted  vegtables, i cup Schwann's diced cooked chicken, 1 can fat
free Campbell's cream of celery soup. Mix and bake until hot and bubbly....top with cheese if you want, I use the fake
cheese cheddar flavored tofu called Veggie Slices.

For myself, I often make Kraft mac and cheese (or a frozen microwave version of mac and cheese), Franco-
American SpaghettiOs with cut-up franks in them, or grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup. Not too thrilling, but it
fills me up!

Crumble 1 large bag of potato chips in casserole dish(save about 1/4 cup and crush it well.)
Mix 1-2 cans cream of mushroom soup with 1-3 cans milk  and 1 can tuna. Pour over chips. Stir enough to moisten
chips. Bake at 375 for 30 min or so. Pour crushed chips on top. Bake a few more minutes till slightly browned.
 Delicious and easy!
You can make this healthier by using WOW chips and fat free soup, tuna in water etc.

Another good idea is to use a crockpot, and let dinner cook while  you are at school. I like to make roast in the crockpot, by
putting my roast in there, and adding a little water, cream of  mushroom soup, and a pack of Lipton onion soup mix. I put it on low and it cooks all day, and it is delicious.

I'll add mine to the great ones already given: On a 16"-18" length of aluminum foil place 1 chicken breast,
1/4 c peas,1/2 c sliced potatoes,2-3 link sausages, salt, pepper, and poultry seasonings to taste. Seal aluminum foil
to keep steam and flavors in. Bake at 400 for 1 hour. Delicious and NO dishes to wash!!

My son's girlfriend made macaroni and cheese for us the other night.  First, she cooked angel hair pasta with garlic powder and salt. Then she put in butter and olive oil into the drained pasta to keep it from sticking.  next she added canned mushrooms and coarse grated parmesean cheese, served with bread and salad.
and we thought we were getting plain old mac and cheese!!Could add many meats or use as a side dish.

Brown 2 tablespoons butter and onions on stovetop.
Add 2 cans cream of mushroom soup and about 1 can of water(add more later if you need to)
Simmer.  Add cut up chicken or turkey pieces(I usually save leftovers from another day)
Add 8 oz.  grated cheddar cheese.
You can add a little wine or cooking sherry and parsley to add a tanginess. Simmer.
Serve over spaghetti noodles.
Make extra for another meal or for lunch.

Baked Chicken with Dumplings Spray deep baking dish with non-stick spray.  Put in chicken pieces (Inow use four pieces, used 9 when my family was at home).  Add a can of Healthy Request Cream of Chicken Soup.  Coverand bake in a 350 degree oven for about 45 minutes.  Remove cover and drop in large tablespoons of baking powderbiscuit batter or a tube of refrigerator rolls separated.  Cover again and bake for another 12 minutes for biscuits --longer for rolls.

CRAZY CROCKPOT BEEF ROAST (must think ahead for this one)
Use a cheap cut of beef roast (cheaper the better), 1 pkg dry Onion soup mix, and one (1) 12oz can of cola!!  YES - soda, like Coke or Pepsi!!!  Coat the beef with the onion soup mix, put into crockpot, pour in the soda.  Set on LOW and cook for 6-8 hours!  It makes the most delicious gravy ever!!!  Put in before go to school, done when you get home.  Serve with "bag"
salad (isn't that stuff wonderful??!!

I make spaghetti using a jar of Prego sauce.  Cook the spaghetti, heat sauce and eat.  Add some "bag" salad and a drink, and you have a pretty good meal.  I sometimes add those pre-made meatballs that you get at Costco or Sams Club.

I make "Tuna Bake" just like beth's except we always add some frozen peas to ours and top it with grated cheese.  I didn't know anyone else made "Tuna Bake" with potato chips, most people use egg noodles!!!  We eat ours with applesauce!!
