Crock Pot Roast

Rub all sides of rumproast(relatively inexpensive cut of meat--
     usually a bit tough but WONDERFUL in crockpot!) with salt, pepper
     and garlice salt. brown on all sides in frypan on stove in a bit
     of cooking oil.

     Put roast in crockpot
     pour over roast a cup of red wine and a cup of beef broth
     add one sliced onion, one tsp rosemary, one tsp thyme
     cook on low in crockpot all day
     strain juice through small strainer and either serve on the side,
     or thicken on stove and serve as gravy
