Slow Cooked Stuffed Peppers or cabbage--

Parboil and Stuff 6 green
     peppers or 12 large cabbage leaves with the following meat mixture (1
     1/2 pound ground beef, 1/3 cup quick cooking rolled oats or instant rice,
     1 minced onion, 1 egg, 1/2 cup stock or milk, 1 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp
     pepper).Place extra chopped cabbage or bell pepper tops on the bottom of
     the cooker. Place cabbage rolls or filled peppers in the cooker. Add 1 cup
     tomato juice, 3 TBSP lemon juice, 1/4 cup sweet red wine, 3 TBSP brown
     sugar, 1/2 bay leaf, 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper.Cook High for for 4-5
     hours.
