2006-2007 4th Grade Pen Pals

Good Evening!
I am trying to get things ready for next year and really want to set up a pen pal program for my students. I obviously don't have numbers yet at this point...but should have around 25-28 kiddos. We are in the Phoenix, Arizona area and would love to send letters back and forth with students in either a rural area or a different region of the United States. I would like to write pretty frequently and have some cool ideas for some project-type ideas. Let me know if you are interested!!

Tentative yes for pen pals

I am starting in a new position next year(Gifted 3-5) and am also not sure of numbers or which group I'll get. As of now I' m interested in doing a pen pal program, because I'm told the only area the gifted kids are not proficient in is writing. Our school is located in a suburban area of Tampa Bay. I was thinking that it would be fun to get a three way pen pal program going. Let me know what you think?

Hello! I am a 6th grade Social Studies teacher switching to 4th grade next year. I am sooooooooo excited and was thinking of starting some type of pen pal program as well. I will have around 25-28 students as well. I am very, very interested in working with you! I live in what used to be rural Illinois, but it is slowly becoming a booming town. It is small with around 8,000 people and has many, many cordnfields. Please et me know what you think! Thanks!!!!!
