My grade level is in charge of an assembly that has to do with Acting with Courage. Does anyone have any ideas on a project to do with courage that could be done in front of the whole school?

How about acting out a story
My class is reading Brave Irene right now and it would lend itself well to that topic. You could also do skits about being brave in different areas of life.
Going to the doctor, or dentist, overcoming fears (spiders, dark, etc.) Hope these ideas are helpful to you.

I saw a really cute 2nd grade production once that you may be able to modify. They used all types of charisteristics and had an oscar-style awards program for Disney movies. They gave the awards to characters from certain movies who exhibited specific qualities. Perhaps you could find several characters from various well known movies that show courage?
