Apprentice finale

Did any of you watch the Apprentice finale last night? What did you think? I liked both Randal and Rebecca and thought in this case both could have been chosen. It would have been a great twist to end the show with. I was disappointed that Randal said what he said.

I made a bet with my husband that Donald was going to say "you're both hired." I think they were both very qualified. I can't believe Rebecca is only 23 years old! I thought Randal was a jerk for what he said, but oh well. No matter what, Rebecca is set for life. ( I bet Donald ended up hiring her anyway, after the fact.)

I really liked Randall early on and pegged him as the winner, but as it got to then end I found I liked both. It was pretty easy to see that the show was headed towards hiring both. When Randall won and said the things he did when asked about hiring Rebecca I found I lost all respect for him. However, when I take a step back and think about it, what boss lets a newly hired person make an immediate hiring decision for the company. The Apprentice has definitely jumped the shark this season.

I also was really disappointed with Randall. I thought he was such a jerk when he said what he did at the end. I hope Trump hired her anyway.

and woke up to see credits rolling and figured Randall won. But, what did he say about Rebecca???????

Randal was hired and then Trump asked him what he thought about Rebecca and then asked him what he thought about him hiring her as well. Randal basically said the show is called The Apprentice, not The Apprenti and said she shouldn't be hired. So Trump said ok to that. Randal was a jerk. I bet if Rebecca won she would have said yes to hiring Randal. What's the chance that Randal would have said, "No, the show is called The Apprentice, not The Apprenti."

I also agree that Randal was a JERK for making the comment he did. They were both very qualified for the job and both should had been hired. Randall was selfish for making his comment and I don't think he wanted to out done by Rebecca, if she was hired.

I bet Rebecca will wind up working for the Trump Organization.

Oooh...I would've never pegged Randal to be THAT way....ugh...just goes to show...keep your friends close, and your enemies closer..huh?

I knew she'd have no trouble getting offers, and I have no doubt she'll continue to impress. I hope she's getting lots of money and kudos, and I hope she continues the class act.

I saw it on Inside Edition Friday afternoon. The execs at Yahoo told her on the Today show Friday morning that they wanted to hire her and she accepted. I think that is great!

I was also disappointed

It thought it was pretty rotten and a little greedy of Randall to do what he did. He could have given someone else a wonderful opportunity and I feel he was really being selfish by telling Trump no. Do you watch Survivor? It's just like the girl who could have given the four others a new car, but instead selfishly took one for herself and none for the others. What is wrong with people these days???? I mean really, will they ever in their life have the chance to do something so big and so wonderful for others again?

Randal really didn't think she should have been hired. The whole time he said that even though she did a great job throughout the show, he thought she lacked the experience needed. She is only 23! Trump could have hired her anyway. Yes, it would have been nice of Randal to let her get the job, but it took a lot of courage for him to say no. He was making an executive decision.
As for the girl on Survivor not giving the others a car.....I thought she was crazy!

just shows how intimidated he is by rebecca that he would vehemently say she shouldn't be hired--he must have been pretty worried that she would show him up!

now i'll have to do a search to find out more about her job offer! i hope she's making way more money than he!
