Armor of God Theme

Our school has chosen "Put on the Armor of God" as our school wide theme for 2009-2010. I'm turning to my PT friends for creative ideas (because you always have the best!). I enjoy incorporating the theme into my classroom name tags, bulletin board displays, library, newsletter, etc. Any ideas or suggestions for how to make my classroom a welcoming place for 1st graders using the theme?

Armor of God

Our school is doing this theme too. Our K always makes Me paperdoll cutouts and they decorate it to look like them. Our school is doing a different piece of armor each month and we will add that piece to their me. We are planninng on having these on their lockers.
I will check back to see what other ideas get posted.
