Assessment question...

I need to come up with a list of assessments that are done throughout the year- beginning of the year assessments (BOY), (MOY), and (EOY). I'd like to know of assessments that are done in other states as well as mine which is new york. I'm trying to really IMPRESS the professor. Thank You for any and all feedback!

Hmm..

The only other ones I can think of are every student response, multiple choice, project based, intergrated use of technology, teacher made tests, performance based assessment and standardized tests. These are some we use in Maryland. I hope this helps. Good luck with impressing your Professor!

Assessments

As a teacher that has not taught for ten years I notice that there is a lot new lingo, like the names of assessments. Does anyone know a website or other resource where I can find this type of lingo and the definitions?
