Best times to apply

Hi

I was just going though the ROE board for me, and I see that there are some positings - "tentative" for next year. Overall, when do you think the best times are to start the application process. Too early, you get placed in a file, to late, you are too late.

How are the rest of you doing it?

Jobs fairs down here are from April-June, so that's when they are looking at and hiring teachers for next year. I've already started applying for job fairs, but because I am not in a "critical field" (I only have social science eligibility), it's going to be more difficult for me than for others in the math and science fields.
