Making Butter

Heavy whipping cream

Put in baby food jars and shake. Voile' .....butter! You can add a dash of salt if you want.

Enjoy on crackers!

A tip for easier butter making

Before you have them shake, let the whipped cream sit until it is room temperature or microwave the chill off. The shaking will produce butter curds faster than if the cream is cold.

Something Else That Will Help

Put a couple of marbles in the bottom of the jar. They will help speed up the process.
