New Student Teacher
Hello my name is Laura...I am a student teacher in a first grade classroom. I started at the end of January and am now teaching about two to three subjects a day. My cooperating teacher is very supportive but sometimes I notice she jumps in to my lessons making suggestions right in front of the class. Also she often spends time on her lessons that my lessons get little time at the end of the day. Any advice/suggestions would be great

Hey I'm Cindy and I am student teaching in the second grade. I just started on Friday and I love it. My co-op has plenty of things to give me for my own classroom and she is very supportive. She also gave me a welcome lunch.

Istteach, I can relate to what you said about your lessons etc. I have had the same thing happen to me. Let me know if you need any help with anything. Maybe we can generate some good lesson ideas, etc. together.

Hi. I am in my second placement . 4th grade, boy is it a change from 1st grade. I have to say that i really don't like it as much. I really love the younger kids and i am trying hard not let it interfere. i just adjust and get along better with the smaller kids.. It's odd.. I hope i am not the only one that feels this way.. :/
