Carpet

I'm going to be getting new carpet in my living room in the next few months. I have a cat and am looking for suggestions on a good type and/or brand that cat hair can be removed from easily. I only have one cat, but she does seem to shed a lot.

New Carpets

Has anyone used National Carpet or Empire Carpet recently?
I need to have the entire house redone as well as the kitchen with a man-made wooden product.I have the estimates but am not sure whether it's a good deal...
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Empire

A co-worker of mine used Empire Carpet recently. She was not impressed with their service. What was supposed to take one day took about a week. She said the quality was fine it was just the customer service that lefet something to be desired.

I'm not looking for someone to install it. I'm looking for suggestions on a good type of carpet to get since I have an indoor pet. Does anyone else have any other suggestions? TIA
