Community project

I am needing some ideas of projects for my 2nd graders. Our community (hospital, college, school, Y, and several student's house) were hit by a tornado on Saturday. I really want to have my kids do something special but can't think right now of some creative ideas. If you have any please let me know!

Care packages in the form of shoe boxes: toothbrush, toothpaste, crayons coloring books, hard candy, etc.
