Compare/Contrast Writing

Does anyone have a list of mini-lessons that go along with a unit on Compare/Contrast writing? We have a new reading series and have never focused on this type of writing for 6 weeks before.

There are lots of graphic organizers on this site. Once you get the hang - most lessons can be adapted with this skill in mind. I did one on Thanksgiving comparing the first thanksgiving to our celebration of Thanksgiving with a Venn diagram - the kids did awesome.
