French Dip sandwiches
My family loves french dip sandwiches and it's so simple to make. Put a roast (I used a swiss steak, but have also used rolled rump) in a crockpot, add a can of french onion soup, a can of beef broth, and a bottle or can of beer. Let it cook for 8-10 hours. Take some big french rolls and slice them in half. Spread butter on the insides and toast them in the oven. Then you can slice up your roast and put it on the buns. Dip the sandwiches in the juices. Yummy! If you're working today it may not work since it takes 8-10 hours, but definately something to try another day.
