At what rate of accuracy and comprehesnion do you move a child up? 97 percent and a 15 comprehension??? What is the exact numbers? This is for the classic DRA kit (level 6: why are we stopping, level 8: duke, etc.)

DRA accuracy

Our school does not move a child to the next level unless their accuracy rate is 90% or higher and their comprehension has to be 18 or higher. If they have a 15 comprehension then that is where we teach them and not move on. I hope this helps.

Our trainer says 94% accuracy with 16 or above comprehension is where a child can be moved up. Below 89% is their frustration level. Hope this helps.

We've been told that 90-94% is their instructional level, if the child scores 95% or above with a comprehension of at least 16, you can go up a level. Mmmmm...different answers in different schools--it seems nothing is ever "standard!"

We use 95% and up to determine the level- and this is their independent level. Our district hopes that in March of 1st grade students are reading at a 12 or above.
