Educational Organization

Has anyone ever worked for any type of educational organization? Or have you ever known anyone who has, or wanted to work there yourself? I'm talking about places like the Sylvan Learning Center (don't know if everyone knows about that).

Yes!

I work for two different companies. One teaches ACT prep classes as well as a class designed to help parents and students work together for success. I will start my training for eSylvan soon. I also interviewed with the regular Sylvan Center. Though I was offered the job there, I took the eSylvan because it pays more. I've also worked for another private tutoring company.

I'd love to get a PhD in Ed Leadership and I just wonder where I could go with it other than higher education and research (even though I'd probably love that too).

I just got hired through eSylvan too! I was just hired Monday and sent all of my paperwork in yesterday. When does your training start? I still have to turn in the paperwork for Penn. Certification, but hopefully I will get to start before that.
