some

I do not think I really do odds and evens. I might mention it but its not a standard. We do practice counting by 5's and 10's, and more importantly than just counting out loud, I expose them to a giant 100's chart. They start to see the patterns and what big numbers look like.

5's and 10's

Yes, we definitely teach counting by 5's, 10's and 2's and some can do 3's. We touch on evens and odds and some children get it, some aren't ready for it yet and that's fine, they'll get it in 1st grade hopefully.

Counting by 5's and 10's is specifically not a benchmark, they do have to manipulate money.

2nd nine weeks is when I teach the nickle so about progress report time we start counting by 5's we do that daily from then on. 3rd nine weeks is when I teach the dime so about progress report time we start counting by 10's too...we do that daily from then on. 4th nine weeks we do the quarter and we start right away counting by 25's.

We do not discuss even and odd.
