expulsion

Student threatens to kill another. Brings loaded gun to school. Coach sees gun. Students is expelled. Board ruled today that he will be expelled from not only that school for the rest of the year, but will not be aloud to attend any Alabama public school for the rest of the year. I thought those of us that replied on the earlier post about expulsion might find that interesting. I think it is great. Students like that need to be gone from all school no question. This is not happening in my school district, but in my nephews. Not sure about criminal charges. I am just glad that he won't be coming my way.

I am not sure of the criminal charges brought against him I was just told about the school situation. If I hear I will post. Lc3 I am aware of the difference between aloud and allowed. My mistake. OOPS!

Thank GOD!!!!! With something that serious, how could they not have ruled as they did?? It wouldn't even had been a question for me. If I was the mother of the poor student that could've been the victim, I'd be thanking my lucky stars every day someone had the brains to do something. After all these horrible school shootings, everything (even a verbal threat) must be taken seriously. Now, how do we get children to STOP threatening each other and bringing guns in the 1st place???? That's the real question.
