Fell Down Basement Steps OUCH!

Saturday I was doing laundry and fell down the basement stairs. I self medicated (Ibuprofin and Vodka). Today it really hurts. I went to urgent care and found three broke ribs and a brused kidney. My class is going to the "farm" tomorrow. I called in sick and know that my IA can handle it. I will drop off my personal children and give my plans to the sub. I have to go to my primary care doctor tomorrow and some time see a specialist perhaps. I do not want to take more time off but in the last 22 days I know there will be a week or two where I will be out. We have a huge meeting after school tomorrow so I am sure that I will need to come back for that if my doctor is done with me!

Oh, you poor thing!

I bet you feel like you got hit by a truck today. Please do see your doctor. It will probably hurt worse before it gets better. I'm so sorry to hear about this. Do take care.

Dr. says take two weeks I said how about two days? May is so chopped up that I have to be there a little. I have personal time in May for a family vacation. Percaset and vicotin do not cut the pain.
