Hi,

Do you know of any sites that would host a student teacher or someone looking for a job in education? It should be an easy to build site.
Thanks.

Still Free?

Hi! The only one I can remember doing is at www.geocities.com. I did my website more than 2 years ago, and it is still there! (just checked it to make sure) And as far as I could remember it was fairly easy; no need to know all the computer language-I just typed my info in. I don't know how much it has changed since then, thoug. Hope you will find a good one to use.

Geocities is super easy to use. I've had a number of websites there over the years.

There is also Angelfire, which I have found very confusing (and I know some basic html).

Scholastic also offers free webpages. From what I can tell, it looks like you just plug in the information you want to the site. That should be very user friendly if you don't know html. http://teacher.scholastic.com/homepagebuilder/index.htm

There is also Teacher Web. Again, their site looks very user friendly and easy to navigate. http://teacherweb.com/

I also found http://www.myschoolonline.com/golocal/ which hosts websites.

The last three should be very teacher-friendly as they are just teacher websites. Let me know if you need any html help, I'd be happy to share with you what I know and how I learned it. ;) Good luck with your website!
