I recently read a new book by an author that is virtually unknown. Her name is Tammy Ponds Thomas. It is called Tobias' Words. It is set in the Civil War Era. It is the story of a young woman who loses everything in the Civil War. She endures many hardships, but recalls the words of the trusted slave Tobias when faced with many difficult situations. I would like to recommend it to everyone. It is sold on Amazon and Barnes & Nobel. Let me know if you like it.
