HELP!! Getting my own Science Lab ROOM

Help, I was just informed, that my principal is going to give me my own science lab room. what kinds of animals are best for this???? how do I handle weekends and vacations??? any suggestions for my new classroom is helplful!!!! anything else I should have in my new lab room???

A Delta fish and lily plant all as one unit.
----I like lots of plants.... Animals stink so I don't have animals. Lots of hands on experiments. Students love these and learn lots. E mail me and ask for science experiments. What age are you working with? Make edible rocks, when you study rocks.

Science lab room

this lab will be open to all students, grades k-6. i need help in setting it up. my principal wants animals in the lab room in addition to plants. i need to know what types of animals that will be easy to take care of should i get?? and what do I do with these animals on the weekends? i can not take them home because my apartment complex does not allow me.
