One idea
Would you want to dress up like Miss Frizzle, and decorate something you already have with things related to science. For example, I have seen gift wrapping paper covered with individual tropical fish. You could laminate the paper, cut out the fish and attach them with double-sided cellophane tape. Another idea would be cover it with those rubbery insects you can get in bags really cheap, or little frogs, lizards, and salamanders. Spiders and spider webs might work too. Well, you get the idea
