Help! Halloween Costume

N

Our principal has decided we should dress up as book characters for Halloween. Last year I did the Giving Tree and put Christmas apples all over a green T-shirt. I have no ideas this year using something I already have. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Nancy

One idea

Would you want to dress up like Miss Frizzle, and decorate something you already have with things related to science. For example, I have seen gift wrapping paper covered with individual tropical fish. You could laminate the paper, cut out the fish and attach them with double-sided cellophane tape. Another idea would be cover it with those rubbery insects you can get in bags really cheap, or little frogs, lizards, and salamanders. Spiders and spider webs might work too. Well, you get the idea:rolleyes:

If you need more Miss Frizzle ideas, go to Amazon.com and do a search for her books and see which ones match up with what you have on hand.
Good luck!

Costume Idea

How about a character from Charlotte's Web? Fern would be simple but Wilbur or Charlotte would be very cute!

Once I was Raggedy Anne and another time I was the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz...it was fun, and I had lots of compliments. A bit over much when we went to McDonalds at noon!
