I didn't watch the video but I think it will show you what to do.

Go to the web page that you are interested in turning into a button. Click the little box with an up arrow (probably bottom middle of your screen). Choose "Add to Home Screen." Change the name to whatever you want it to be or leave it as is. Click Add.
