Using the internet

Well, as an obvious example, we have this board! :D

I also use the internet to learn more about specific types of learning disabilities, evaluations used in testing and diagnosing, special ed. law, and lesson planning. I would say I use the internet for lesson planning fairly frequently- differentiated instruction calls for activities beyond worksheets (though finding the time to actually *do* the activities is another thing!).

Internet

Hi, I'm new to this group; do you mean, to aid your own teaching ideas, or that you want the children to use the Internet? What age group/level do you have? I have 4th grade LD students. Currently we're doing a project on animals and camouflage; they are looking up pictures on the Internet, will write clues to describe them, then make a "hidden" picture for others to guess what they've written about.
