Help! This is my first year in third grade, and I need to prepare my students for ISAT. I was wondering if anyone had any organizers as to how to help them write a written reponse for something that they read. I know that they need to connect it to thier lives and the story. I am lost! Please help.

rubrics

check your state board of eds website for writing rubrics, they sometimes have examples too. This is how I grade all my students work. That way I know what to look for/teach.
