It is good to see people who WANT to teach

I am so SICK of seeing all of these posts about people who HATE teaching. I am glad there are still people out there who WANT to teach. Best of luck to everyone who still LOVE teaching. I am thinking about teaching full time and I need some positive people on these boards instead of the negative ones. I KNOW it is a LOT of hard work.

I know what you mean.

It seems like there are a lot more negative posts lately. Some of them are just negative because they've had a bad day. But it seems like some really do just hate teaching. It is a lot of hard work, but I can't imagine doing anything else. I've taught for 16 years, and I can honestly say, I love it. Good luck to you! I hope you find a full time teaching job! Happy Thanksgiving!:s)

I absolutely love my job! I feel like i have the best job in the world and that what i do each day does make a difference in their lives. But...not everyday is rewarding and some days I wish i'd been born a guppy :)

Its too bad those negative people can't give their jobs to people like me! But thanks for those of you who wished job searchers (like myself) luck.

I LOVE my job! I teach Kindergarten, which some people think is a walk in the park. (These people obviously have never been in a K class room before.) I love teaching children to learn their alphabet, to write, and to read. It's an amazing process!

During the job search, I prayed for the right job to come available. I remember one of our pastors at church asking what my dream job would be and I told him I would want to teach Kindergarten at a particular school. A couple of months later I was offered the exact position at my current school. I hope that you find the school, staff, and grade that is best-suited for you. I don't know if I would be as happy teaching if I had been placed in an upper grade or at another school. <!--dove-->
