Jeopardy game?

Has anyone bought that? It's about $400., and I've thought about buying it several times. Now that I have a nice chunk of money to spend on "instructional supplies", I'm thinking about that. Is it worth it? Can the whole class see it on a regular size TV? How long does it take to "plug in" the information to quiz them on?

Jeopardy

I found (on here?) a powerpoint of the game and use it. I's free. I type in my own info and can personlize it how I want. We are playing a year end wrap up next week on the next to the last day to see what they recall.

Just use powerpoint

We have a jeopardy game at school that allows us to use powerpoint as the jeopardy board, sounds included. If you give me your email adress, I can send it to you.

I use the powerpoint

one you folks are talking about with sounds and music and the kids love it. I also have Who wants to be a millionaire in the same format. It's awesome and so easy to use I can't believe it.

I have the game you're talking about and my kids love it! It's exactly like the real game show on tv! It comes with three hand remotes for buzzing in, a scoreboard that keeps points and also lets you know who buzzed in first, and the display on tv is really neat. It plays the Jeopardy theme song, has double jeopardy, and final jeopardy. My kids beg me to play. I did order several pre-made game cartridges and a lot of blank cartridges. It also comes with a keyboard that is a bit smaller than a computer keyboard. You can use the keyboard to create your own games and store them on the cartridges. I plan on doing this part this summer!:)

Jeopardy

Our school purchased one and we can check it out from the library. My team mate and I are going to use it to do a class competition reviewing 5th grade skills. I think it will be a lot of fun.
