Kissing Kindergarteners!

Help! My k's keep kissing each other and my parents are getting upset! I have talked to them about only kissing family members and about personal space, but it keeps happening! What do I do? How do I handle this? I have taught k for 12 years, but I have never had such a problem with this before. It happens during PE or during recess or when they are packing up for the day. Do I punish them in some way or? Advice? I work in a Catholic School so I do not have an option to talk to any counselors.

I would start with telling the parents of the kissers to address it at home. I usually have a couple kissing incidents each year. I explain they are too young for boyfriends and girlfriends. PE Coach, recess duties, etc. need to be aware it is happening so they can keep a closer eye on the kissing bandits.

It usually dies down pretty quickly when they're getting the same message from home and school.
