Krogers and Sudden Infant Death Research

My Mission

Hi,

It is my mission to help support SIDS research so hopefully, one day, other families won't have to go through what we have been going through.

For those of you that live in Georgia, South Carolina, Eastern Alabama, and Tennesee; here is an easy way to contribute to SIDS reseach.

I found this on www.sids.org.

"If you buy groceries from a Kroger store and would like to help the American SIDS Institute, there is now a way you can do both at the same time. Kroger is offering to donate a percentage of the grocery bill from everyone presenting a Kroger Commitment Cash Card prior to their purchase.

Available in Georgia, South Carolina, Eastern Alabama and part of Tennessee Kroger stores only."

The Commitment Cash Cards can be gotten for free at www.sids.org under the Shop to Fight SIDS tab.

This is one of those things people don't think of until tragedy strikes, but when it does, it is sudden and devastating. While I look forward to the holidays, it is very hard to think about having Christmas without our Lilee. She would be 6 1/2 months old on Christmas; the Christmas presents I got with such joy for my little granddaughter are sadly tucked away. I think I will give them to a Women's Shelter for Christmas so something positive can be gained from them.

I have changed my avatar to put a human face to the story of SIDS. This is my beautiful granddaughter, who died so unexpectedly just 6 weeks ago.

Thanks for sharing your tragedy. I know it must be difficult for you and your family. Celebrate her life and what you are doing is giving meaning to her precious life. I have 5 grandbabies and I could not imagine my life without anyone of them.

We don't have Krogers in my area, but I will make a donation.

Thank for the information and getting the word out. Lilee is no longer a beautiful little girl, she is now a beautiful little ANGEL.

God Bless you.-|---

God's Precious Angel

Lilee is a precious angel. God needed her to do his work if only for a very short time. Hopefully, her legacy will be the end of SIDS. God bless you and your family as you go through this holiday season without Lilee.
