Laughing at Myself!

There's a Kia Sportage commercial that's been on everywhere all the time this past week. It shows people traveling and there's a big metal and red plastic lollipop-shaped thing on the roof of the car. As the commercial came on for the upteenth time, I told my son that I thought it was a really dumb commercial. I added, "I totally don't understand why they're traveling around with a gear shifter on top of their car and then stick it in the ground when they get to their destination." He burst out laughing and said, "Um, Mom--that's a map pin." Oh.

Gear shifter or map pin--still an annoying, dumb commercial!
