Looking for a drawing activity using length..

Hi guys! I am looking for an activity to do with my 4th graders to reinforce measurement skills. I thought it would be fun to have them draw a picture based on instructions. For example, they might could draw a ship from measurement directions given (draw a vertical line that is 2 3/4 inches long) for example.

I could make one on my own but wondered if there weren't something like that already out there. I've googled but no luck. Thanks!

measurement man

We made a man by using measurement. It was as big as about 3 sheets of computer paper. The directions were to reinforce the use of both centimeters and inches. We made up the measurements ourselves. It was a neat activity, but took lots of time and effort on everybody. The kids loved it.
