This post is for Connieg and anyone else who has an opinion. Do you have to wear makeup for a job interview?

I don't wear makeup, but maybe I should. I am older, and it would probably take a few years off of my age. But I don't know how to apply it or what to use. Any advice would be welcome! Thanks so much!

maybe

Hi,

I would make sure that I really knew how to apply it and go lightly with mascara, liner, and very soft tones for base and blush. I think it is important for you to look somewhat "animated" to help people see the excitement in your expression. Teachers either wear little/none and then the light approach works and then there are those who believe all civilized women wear makeup would be impressed to see a little there. I'm on the natural/low makeup side, but it is on everyday. I work in an upscale community of Barbie doll moms, so it is expected.
