Mammogram 2022 Done

I had it done this morning and have the results this afternoon. You can't beat that turn around time. No problems found. It always feels good to get past this test each year.

I lost my mother to breast cancer. Her mother also had breast cancer but survived. Then I have a cousin on each side of the family that suffered with this dreaded cancer. You can understand why I am encouraging everyone to do them annually and on time.

Have you had your's this year? Or, do you have your appointment scheduled? It is important ladies. Take care.

I'm so glad yours went well! That has to be so scary in your family.

I did mine last week! Everything was good. You're right - it always feels good to get past the test each summer.

Yay! Glad to hear your appointment went well.
My appointment is not until the fall. Thanks for giving everyone a reminder.

Yay! I had mine a couple of weeks ago. My mother had breast cancer when she was my age. Last year I had a biopsy due to an abnormal mammo, but thankfully it was calcium deposits. I was very glad to get a good report this year. I have mammos in early summer and MRIs each fall.

Mammogram

I had mine done June 13. A bit more stressful than usual because my usual place closed and was absorbed by the hospital. I found the hospital experience more clinical, but fortunately was able to get one of the appointments where they read it right there. I always need an ultrasound, which adds to the fun. My mom and grandma were survivors, I lost a paternal aunt to it and a cousin had it. So grateful everything was negative. Glad for all the posters who had good results, too.

I have my mammo exactly 6 months after my annual checkup. That way I get checked twice a year. No…I do not do monthly breast checks but hubs said he would happily do it for me. lol

I went to book my annual check this afternoon. They can’t do it in my town due to not having a radiographer, so I am now up for a 400km trip with fuel as high as it is. I had cancer three years ago, so I have to get this done, but I imagine a lot of women will skip the screening one.

Glad yours went well.

Mine is scheduled for next week. My place always sends a reminder card. It is always a relief to get the letter saying everything is fine.

I am also very diligent to get my annual. My mom and my aunt (her sister) both had breast cancer in their 60's. So far I've had only one scare but turned out to be nothing. Glad for your good news!

I'm a 5 year breast cancer survivor. I get a diagnostic mammogram every six months. It is stressful because I worry about the cancer coming back, but so far so good.

I had mine on the 19th and had results that afternoon and then my OB called me the next day to also tell me the results also. I’m glad to have it done for the year.
