i have a student that does not like and is not very good in math--her parents have requested some math computer games (no Internet).

i know about mathblaster...anyone know of any other good ones?

i don't need just basic facts, but 4th-5th grade skills

add/sub/mult/div decimals
basic fraction concepts
beginning geometry

basically, EASY 6th grade work

thanks!!

math computer games

I have geo safari knowledge pad math for division and multiplication, math for the real world, and quarter mile math. The Geo Safari I just bought from Educational Insights catalog on clearance for $2.50. It is great. I hope this helps.

Reader Rabbit

I LOVE the Reader Rabbit Personalized program for ages 6-9. I had some at one of my 2 schools, and personally bought for the other one...I used it with 2-5th graders, and they liked it, too. It has a video story that you can click past for the older kids ...I showed them how, but they did enjoy the activities, too.

I don't know if they have an older skills version for say 9-12, or not as I mostly work with those who need the lower range of objectives.
