Mentor Texts-Anyone read this?

I posted this question elsewhere and got no response.
I came across this book and am wondering if anyone has read it. It is called Mentor Texts: Teaching writing through children's literature. It would be a great addition to the writing program I'm doing (UOS) if it's good.
Any feedback?
