microsoft word 2007 Help

I am having a hard time getting used to all the new icons and stuff. The problem is this. When I wanted to copy a picture or clipart on my XP windows I just right clicked and saved target . On this 2007 I right click and I get cut, past, edit , format. All I want is to save a clipart art piece in my picture folder. So what do I do? I have been playing around with this problem for 2 days and decided to come to the PT experts. I know it has got to be something simple.
Thanks!

Wow

Here's how I saved the graphic. I opened up word 2007 and did a search for a Christmas graphic. Then over on the right where the clipart collection is I right clicked and clicked copy. I opened up paint and pasted. Then I saved as a jpeg, gif or whatever in my pictures. At least I got there but there MUST be an easier way.

Not sure if I'm on the right page based on your description, but here goes: find your clip art and copy and paste it into word. Then just click save and save it where you want it to be. If copy is not showing up do a control key and c key at the same time and then paste into word.

No

Word 2007 is totaly different than earlier versions. You can do control s to save but it saves the document. She wants to know how to save the clipart.

Got it. Ok I figured it out

Open word. Insert clipart. Decide what you want to insert (santa for example) Open my pictures folder. Right click the clipart you want. Drag it to the my pictures folder and click copy here. It saves as a wmf file extension.

I clearly stated that I wasn't sure if I was right, so please don't jump all over my post for wrong information!!!!

I wasn't jumping all over your comment. I was trying to help the poster. The post was not meant to criticise you.
