finally watched it
But I'm terrible at retelling stories. So here goes...
Sloane is not happy about his agreement with Gordon Dean. They both want to call the shots. Dean gives Sloane some info about a man who is working on a weapon to intercept and redirect missiles electronically. He asks Sloane to use APO (is that what the organization is called?) to find the man, who disappeared months ealier.
They find an Indian man who has the info they need to track down the weapon guy (some Slavic name--Janos Vak, or something). Sydney and Dixon go in under cover, with the new guy, Rachel, and Marshall as support. Sydney gets to the safe and gets the info, but Rachel is spotted by a guard, freaks out, and needs to be rescued by the new guy. But the mission is successful.
Rachel and the new guy (what IS his name???) have a conversation in the gym about her fighting skills. He spars with her and gives her some pointers. I can't remember exactly what the talked about.
Using the info Sydney stole, they find Vak on an oil platform in the ocean. No one is allowed on or off except his "female companionship" every two weeks. Of course, Sydney can't do it, so they send in Rachel, who is very unsure of herself.
Sloane tells Dean about the new mission. Sloane says he will switch the info, give the real one to Dean, and give a fake to APO. Dean and the dark-haired woman whom Rachel thought was her friend (Amy Acker is the actress-don't know the character's name) decide to thwart the mission because Dean doesn't trust Sloane.
Rachel almost blows the mission by dropping the lipstick with the poison, but it turns out Vak is into bondage, so she just ties him up and steals his hard drive. Sydney talks her through the whole thing.
The dark-haired woman gets onto the platform as Rachel is trying to leave. They have a fight. Rachel is in trouble, but Dixon flies in on a helicopter, scares away the other woman (who jumps into the water), and rescues Rachel.
Dean tells Sloane that is he cares about Nadia, he will do as Dean says. Sloane visits Nadia in the hospital.
Sydney goes to a baby store and buys a rocking chair. At home she plays a tape of a conversation she and Vaughn had on a past mission while holding the tape player to her abdomen.
