Moody Blues update..

For those who asked - THEY ROCKED!!! If you closed your eyes you were transported back int time, their voices have not changed. Amazing night. They are one band that neither DH or I had seen before, and we've seen a lot of concerts over the years (my first one was Janis Joplin, the night she was arrested for profanity at Curtis Hixon Hall in Tampa!!! I was VERY young, probably too young to be there, but that's what you get for hanging out with a bunch of older people :D:D). So if you get a chance to see them on this tour - GO!!

Question

Who is their opening act-or did they take the night themselves? Just curious. Would like to see them and McCartney.

No opening act, just them. McCartney puts on a great show, too. DH has not seen him, we haven't been able to make that happen yet. We did see Ringo (also at the Ryman, which is a small venue - once the home of the Grand Ole Opry).

Wow!

Wish we could have been there with you, Fish2! I am totally a moody blues fan! I used their music to inspire me when I had to work weekends in my classroom! I had a great stereo system and used "Im just a Singer in a Rock n Roll Band" "Tuesday Afternoon," ETC.............but my favorite song that I will never ever forget was "White Satin". That song is such a part of me. Remember I was in summer school at Kansas State University. Drove into the student parking lot, parked, got out and that song was playing on speakers loudly...... Nights in white satin.........The song stuck in my brain! Years and years and years and years later.... I still remember the song, the sunlight hitting my face that day and how I loved that music! Thank you for bringing back that memory!<!--sunshine-->

Thanks for the critique

My DH and I love going to concerts. We'll look for them. We passed up so many opportunities because of the $$$$$.
I'll start a post on good concerts/ bad concerts.
We need to spend out concert dollars on great band since we are on a fixed income.<!--sing-->

LuBelle....

They played all 3 of the songs you mentioned. Nights in White Satin pretty much brought everyone to their feet. <!--lovestruck-->
