My dog…

My family and I adopted a dog 3 years ago. He’s half blue heeler and half husky. It has been a very, very long process to get him to finally trust us. ( he was adopted and surrendered once before). He is anti-social, extremely over protective and dislikes all dogs and most people, but he ADORES our vet. We do “happy visits” in the summerrs- we go in, they give him love and treats and we leave. Last year we were able to build up to him being able to go to doggy daycare for half a day, but during the school year we lose all that ground because I can’t take him.

Today my DS had a Dr appointment, so Blue did not get to go on his happy visit. He was NOT amused. He’s a weirdo, but he’s my weirdo.
