1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl
2. Lay the mixture flat on a baking tray

Serving Suggestion: Cold, by themselves, in a party situation.
Leftover Potential: Keep well in an airtight container for days.

Nuts and Bolts recipe

My family always called this Chex mix, or simply "snacks," but here is my recipe. I think it's the same thing. This is very easy. The secret is to stir thoroughly so that the flavorings get mixed in really well on all the pieces. Good luck!

3 Tb butter
1/4 tsp onion salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
2 tsp lemon juice
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup salted peanuts
7 cups Chex-type cereal (rice Chex, corn Chex, etc.)
1 cup stick pretzels

Melt butter in 13x9x2 pan in the oven at 250 degrees. Remove from oven. Stir in garlic salt, onion salt, lemon juice, and Worcestershire sauce. Add cereal, nuts, and pretzels, and stir until all pieces are well-coated. Bake at 250 for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes. Makes about 9 cups.
