The third largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history was won Friday night as a single ticket matching the Mega Millions jackpot numbers was sold in Illinois. It is worth $1.28 billion.
It is you, right?

I was hoping it was GG ( Aik would want some say in getting more hotdogs!LOL), but then I remembered she doesn't live there anymore. :(

I also hope several people purchased it together....like 100 people....it is a stupid amount for just one person to win.......unless it was me ;)

Me

My dh bought our tickets. He said he was working today, and I haven't heard from him. Maybe he took the winnings and ran! LOL

I’m sorry it wasn’t multiple winners. I honestly feel like that much money will be a burden for someone who is not used to handling it. Now if that person wanted to hand off a few million to me, I would be happy to take it off their hands. ;)

Hubby didn’t win it either. The winner isn’t that far from us either. Personally I agree with PoohBear. That’s too much for one person to win.

I didn’t even match one number:mad. Of course, I don’t live in IL either.

Truthfully, I don’t know if I would want all that money. It is just too much for someone like me. Don’t get me wrong— I could handle a few million very easily, though LOL

Sigh of relief

I'm in Illinois. And I am overjoyed that I didn't win. I am not at all interested in having my entire life and all of the relationships I have with others suddenly uprooted and out of control.

I would much prefer to win $500,000. Or even $5000.

Illinois is my home state. Live in Az now. I was talking to my son before drawing. Told him winners always seem to come from back east. He said the last two were from Illinois. So, this would be 3rd one from Illinois. Wish it was one of us.
