Oprah...the cruise bride show

I recorded the Oprah show from Tuesday and just watched it yesterday. I have to say that I just do not believe that cruise "widow." I just do not see how she can be that out of it if she only had a couple of drinks. If she had been drugged, she would not have felt well enough to get up the next morning at 10:00 to go to the spa. She probably would not have been able to function. I think she 1.) had something to do with his death or 2.) knows who did. She just seemed more concerned with yelling at the president of Royal Carribbean than being upset about not having her husband anymore. She only "cried" once the entire show. I know that people handle grief differently, but I think that if my husband had disappeared only six months ago, I would still be inconsolable. Also, she kept referring to him as being dead. While that is the assumption of many, close family members and loved ones usually do not say that until a body has been found. It's holding out that hope. His parents and sister never referred to him as being dead during their interview. I just think that this girl is full of it. Any thoughts?

I agree

I thought something was "off" about her demeanor too. She just didn't ring true. I thought it was interesting that Gail seemed convinced by her, but Oprah seemed to have the same reaction that you and I did.

I agree with both of you...

I thought the same thing...I think she did it or know who did it. I couldn't believe that on the show she was more worried about how they treated HER on the cruise than how the crime scene was treated!!! Good god, I don't think I would have remembered ANY of that day if I found out my new husband was dead. She was just very weird. I didn't believe her one bit.

Not sure

I watched it also and thought she acted weird. But what about the polygraph tests she took and supposedly passed? She said she "was so thankful there were tests out there that proved the truth." I"m not sure what to think. Why on earth would she have anything to do with her new husbands death when they were on their honeymoon and supposedly having such a great time?! I agree, something is not right. Do you think the cruise line was trying to cover something up?

Polygraph tests are notoriously inaccurate. She certainly doesn't act like someone who traumatically lost her new husband. I found her very disbelievable.

Cruise wife

That whole show was strange. I really don't think she had anything to do with it but at the same time. Someone DOES know something. I almost wonder what kind of life did he live. Maybe he had some type of alternate life that followed him on that cruise. I still am not quite convinced that she was drugged either, and also WHY are two newlyweds NOT together their entire honeymoon. When the couple talked on Oprah, they said that last night they were not together. You couldn't have gotten me away from my husband on my honeymoon. I don't get it!!!!!!!!!!

I agree

I also thought it was strange. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one. I didn't catch the whole program, but she acted odd. Something's a little fishy there.
