Anyone know where the cheapest place to buy magazine boxes is? You know, the boxes that are tall and are slanted that people store old mags in? I need about 50 for my classroom!

Did you try garage salels. Do you know anyone that works in a office.
They may have extra's.

I think they are a dollar a mag holder at wal-mart. Expensive if you want 50 of them

Have you ever thought about having the kids bring in cereal boxes? You could cut them down to make the slant to store the magazines in. I have done this before when money was tight and I am still using them. I covered them with colored paper and on some I had the kids to come up with the labels for the skinny side. Just a cheap thought.

Folder boxes

At back to school time the two prong folders all come in those boxes. Most stores, like WalMart are willing to just let you have them so they do not have to throw them away.

We use these for our literacy library. You can order them from a library supply company. See your librarian. When ordered this way they are realatively inexpensive.

If you have IKEA, you can get a set of 5 (I think) for around 3 bucks.

It might be even less!
