"I also do an in depth guided reading lesson on Bloom's Taxonomy using the Gingerbread Boy. After doing that we read a chapter book together and follow the steps we did in the Gingerbread Boy. The students love it and it is amazing some of the things their little minds can pull out of the stories! (This is my fourth year teaching 1st grade--A veteran teacher gave me this idea because I had this same question!)"

I would love to see your lesson also. I have such a fascination with the whole gingerbread thing and have several plans to incorporate it into my lessons, but I would love to see more. If you don't mind sending it out, I'd really appreciate it!

I have had the flu and morning sickness!

I haven't forgot you all! I am 15 weeks pregnant and I think I caught a bug or something the last few days! I am back and will be going to my classroom tomorrow! I think I might even have it on a disk at home and will look for it! Sorry it has taken so long! I didn't plan this pregnancy well but at least will hopefully be over the icky part before school starts!

Does anyone know how long it takes before they let you have attachment status?
