Pen pals wanted for 5 students!

Hi! I have a small class this year of 5 students. I would really like them to have pen pals, but unfortunately it's difficult since it's such a small class. My students are 4/5th grade and bilingual (Spanish), but their English is pretty good. I would love for them to have the opportunity to have a "friend" and practice their writing skills. We're in the Chicago suburbs. We'll take pen pals from anywhere! Let me know if you're interested!

Hi. I have a fourth grade classroom in Williamstown MA. I am looking for only a few penpals because I want to do it as an optional activity. Five students would be excellent for us. Your students could practice their writing, and I would love the cultural exchange as well. It is a small town and I want my students to be exposed to as much diversity as possible. Maybe they can learn some Spanish too! Write me back and let me know what you think. I would love to start as soon as you want.

Hi Amanda. That sounds perfect. I've never done pen pals before (I'm a first year teacher) so I don't know what the best way to do them is. We start school again on Tuesday. If you'd like, I can have my students write letters this coming week and mail them to you, and then you can match them up with whichever students you want. I have 3 girls and 2 boys.
