I am looking for a few poetry units. I am about to teach it for the first time. Please help!

There is a poetry website where you can go to create instant poems. It begins www.ettc.k12.nj.... I am not sure what comes after that, but I will let you know if you cannot find it. It has been a grea resource for my students, and they have loved writing poetry on this site.

Are you a member of

reading a- z website? If so they have a wonderful poetry anthology book and the worksheets to go along with writing many of the types of poetry. It is great!
