My dad is in the hospital. He has Mantel Cell Lymphoma and recieved a stem cell transplant on Monday. He is doing well, all things considering. He is experiencing sickness but its expected with this type of transplant. He is in an isolated room unable to leave the room to visit other patients or visit the day room to see what is going on. He will be in the hospital for at least 2 1/2 more weeks. Please keep him in your paryers, his name is Ken.
My 14 year old step brother also has lymphoma (Lympohoblastic Lymphoma) but he is doing OK right now...he even has hair...he is very proud of that! Please also keep him in your prayers...his name is Carl.
My family is struggeling a bit emotionally with both of them so ill but we are staying as positive as we can. I am dealing with it by running. I am running a marathon with team in training to raise money for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.active.com/donate/tnt/nicolealbritton) so wish me luck! If you have any ideas on fundraisers I can do let me know! I already have a garage sale in the works, and have done a bucket drop at Wall-Mart.
Thanks
