Those of us who have hung on appreciate the site to communicate and hopefully continue to share info to help each other in the classroom. I love hearing ideas from others on teaching topics. Some of my best classroom practices were found here.

One day, though, I would really like to know what the darn secret password was.

I am just DYING to know the whole "real story." Why the site went from being heavily moderated by the editor to seemingly nothing overnight. Is it the same person who then months later fixed the home page/brought it back (twice?) What was the "stay tuned for more news" that was posted for months and months? Was this the more news? Is this a new person who is somehow taking over? Why the sudden inclusion of the "secret passphrase" that wasn't there before? It seems like the sudden creation of the "secret passphrase," which was then not told to anyone, was deliberate in order to keep new members from joining the site. Why the sudden change of heart? INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW!

I'm a little nervous, honestly. How long are these "renovations" going to take? How different will the site actually look in the end? Is it going to be so different that people get fed up and don't post anymore? Of course I hope it's all done quickly and turns out well!
